Sneaky Peat was born in Ireland of goodwill and generosity through the Gaeltacht Authority (‘Údarás na Gaeltachta’), which exists to preserve Irish values and promote them through private enterprise. We chose to incorporate similar ideals, to enable our business to also reach out and contribute meaningfully to other's endeavors - especially when this progresses Irish interests the further from home our business leads us.
This approach is most visible in our sales and distribution methods, which we feel are just as ORiginal and novel as our developing family of Irish Peat BBQ, Hearth & related products. For example, Sneaky Peat strives to associate its business with the multitude of promotional and fund-raising activities of Irish non-profit organizations, clubs and the like, so as to directly assist in their efforts.
We actively seek out mutual interests and support with small and emerging businesses, who can claim at least some Celtic heritage or interest - "my father's sister's step-mother's great great grand-father was Irish," or, "My name is Guinness" is good enough! This also helps ensure that Sneaky Peat's Irish Peat products reach consumers through dedicated, informed and reliable channels.
In addition, volume sales of Sneaky Peat's Irish Peat to our commercial clients generate donations by us to qualifying Irish non-profit organizations of our client's choice. These donations are specifically referenced to both client and nominated non-profit, in order to bring all parties into further synergistic contact.
